Digital Node Director and Founder Rebecca De Cicco is presenting at Sydney Build – one of Australia’s most trusted construction shows.

The Sydney Build Expo is where industry peers convene to deliver insights into how we build today and express forward-thinking for how we will build tomorrow.

As a specialist in global BIM processes and practice, Rebecca will be discussing the global delivery of BIM, what this means to varying regions, and what we can expect from the new IS0 19650 standard.

Ahead of next week’s show, Rebecca commented: “We can all try to assume to know how BIM is evolving globally but unless you’re on the hard face of it 24/7, it can appear a little complex and difficult to understand.

“That’s why in my class I want to take away any complexities and give you an insight into who’s winning the race to digitize their projects and how.

“We work with many international clients on BIM projects in the US, Australia, China and Europe and as such have a strong and advanced position globally, combined with the knowledge and understanding of the standards which support BIM that are crucial for any individual or organization looking to scale its business globally.”

There are three key areas Rebecca will be covering:

  • Focus on the practical view of how and why BIM is evolving globally.
  • Who are the high players and the loud talkers in the global AEC industry?
  • The advanced solutions that are being undertaken across the world when it comes to BIM, and how you can implement these into your own business delivery.

From this, show visitors can gain an understanding of the need to implement BIM at all project levels, an awareness of the vast opportunities offered by the technical landscape within the global built environment, and learn how to successfully integrate the practices of BIM-leaders into project planning.

Sydney Build is taking place on 14-15 March and more details on how to register and Rebecca’s talk can be found here.
