Spanning two days over Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 November, Auckland plays host to the much anticipated Digital Innovation and Delivery to Improve Construction Productivity conference.

With a unique digital engineering focus, this conference was designed to invite discussion on geospatial, BIM, Architecture, Engineering and Construction. Specifically to promote collaboration through the use of new technologies.

The focus will be on the adoption of BIM in New Zealand and the impact this is having on the digital built environment of this region. Leading international digital construction experts have been invited to speak to give not only a national perspective on BIM in New Zealand, but what best practice is being delivered globally and how this region can benefit from taking a similar approach.

Digital Node Managing Director, Rebecca De Cicco is one of a select group of industry leaders invited to take part in the conference.

At 9.30am on day one, Rebecca will be delivering a Keynote talk on transforming construction and infrastructure with BIM and digital engineering policies. Rebecca’s talk will assess the current trends in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) from a global perspective, and how we are transitioning in international policies. Rebecca will review the benefits of a consistent process when it comes to BIM and digital engineering, and will examine new technologies while offering her predictions on the way we will be designing and building in the future.
