The University of Westminster, Department of Property and Construction have a keen in interest in BIM and its associated processes. The department are dedicated to provide students with current industry knowledge and guidance in the BIM arena and ensure their post graduate courses achieve a high standard in delivering these messages.
Digital Node worked closely with University Lecturer Rob Garvey to create a series of modules for the MSc in Building Information Management (BIM) & Integrated Practice for the University of Westminster.
It was the aim of the content to not only align to industry best practice and the Government BIM Task Groups BIM Learning outcomes Framework but to also provide guidance on selection of speakers for the Lectures which will be also part of the London BIM Region.
In summary we provided the following:
- Guidance on the learning outcomes that align to the BIM Learning outcomes framework.
- Advice on speaker selection for the lectures by expert professionals.
- A Framework for delivery of the course for the MSc Students.
- Support and Guidance on course content and assignments.
