Rebecca De Cicco has been shortlisted for the “Women in Construction Award” at the London Construction Awards 2019.

From an early age, Rebecca has always been fascinated by how technology was shaping the world around her. Having always wanted to be an Architect, Rebecca was intrigued by how she could communicate an idea, present it, then use the technology at her fingertips to make the design process better.

Having worked at a senior level in Australia and the UK for many years for a variety of leading Architectural firms, Rebecca’s interest in the drive toward implementing BIM in the UK (following the release of the Government Construction Strategy in 2011) was a major turning point.

Rebecca’s knowledge grew, and she joined a number of leading industry groups such as the then UK BIM Task Group and buildingSMART International amongst others, regularly speaking at events in the UK and globally.

As a result of Rebecca’s passion and fortitude to continually develop and grow the business, Digital Node is now at the forefront of the understanding and interpretation of technological change, and Rebecca’s mission is to share and impart our knowledge and understanding to improve intelligence on projects globally.

Award winners will be announced at the ceremony in London on Wednesday 27 November.
